Access For All
For visitors with disabilities, there is excellent access throughout the visitor centre, grounds and hides. Our grounds have plenty of benches, to relax and enjoy the scenery. We also have disabled parking, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities.
What is there for groups?
Tralee Bay Wetland Centre can provide a memorable day out for groups of all ages and interests, from keen wildlife enthusiasts to groups just wanting a nice afternoon stop or lunch in pleasant surroundings.
There are beautiful walks around the reserve dotted with Bird Hides offering excellent viewing facilities and a close up inspection of the wildfoul, birds and animals of the wetlands. Spectacular views of the bay can be seen from our 20metre Observatory Tower.
Groups will be delighted by how close they can get to the ducks, geese and swans on board our guided nature boat tour and all visitors will be entranced by the beauty and tranquillity of the reserve.
Groups can browse in the Gift Shop for mementoes of their visit. They can also enjoy a meal / light lunch or delicious home-made scones in the Lakeside Café or make use of our picnic facilities.
